Lissa Rankin teaches private encaustic workshops at her home in Muir Beach, California, in Marin County in the San Francisco Bay area.  These workshops are based on the techniques she learned and developed by interviewing 60+ artists for her book, Encaustic: A Guide To Creating Fine Art With Wax, which will be published by Watson Guptill, a subisidiary of Random House, in 2010.  Private workshops can be personally tailored to an artist's individual needs and are suitable for both beginning and advanced students of encaustic.  Anything goes with Lissa Rankin's workshops, and all you have to do is bring your passion, your creativity, your curiosity, and your questions.
